Course Syllabus
Course Objective: Increase Knowledge of the function of the brain as it relates to storing childhood trauma in the mind, body and spirit. Increase Clinical knowledge of how practicing Self-Compassion can re-wire the nervous system and increase self-acceptance. Increase knowledge of how a history of oppressive systems have harmed our inner child and how to gain awareness in an effort to Re-Parent as a tool of self-regulation and empowerment.
Goal:
In this course, you will learn the neuroscience behind why our brain is wired for old patterns from childhood and how we can change our Epigenetics with Re-Parenting our Inner Child. We will learn how to incorporate Self Compassion as a scientifically proven way to calm your nervous system and create new pathways for joy and self-acceptance of your resilient & hopeful inner child. If you are a clinician and are curious about Re-Parenting for yourself or for your clients, this is the perfect intro course for you! You will understand why inner child healing works and how to create safe spaces for clients on this healing journey.
Outcomes:
