Service Description
While gaining awareness through her own postpartum journey into motherhood, Cynthia has gathered data, shared stories, and highlighted indigenous ways of self-healing. This keynote is geared for the Latinx community and professionals working with this community. Using ancestral knowing to heal legacy wounds to strengthen our relationship with ourselves and move beyond traditional expectations and towards self preservation and rest. This conversation is great for agencies who employ and/or provide services to the Latinx/e community. This conversation dives into the intergenerational impact of ancestral trauma and how carving out space to live "an a living ancestor" can help us feel better and more intuitive. This includes a curated discussion with evidence based research and stories from indigenous communities to bring us creative possibilities for intergenerational expansion and restoration. This keynote is a curated topic by Cynthia Perez, LCSW and she is sponsored by Latinx Therapy to host CEU Courses for Therapists and Social Workers in California.
